The charts on this page are from a survey conducted on this website at the end of 2003 and beginning of 2004. Participants were of a wide range of ages, occupations and education levels. Surveys, whether they occur on the internet or in-person are not what I would call real scientific data; they are only a very broad view which, like all surveys, contains some distortions and inaccuracies due to the fact that survey-takers are not always honest in their answers, and questions do not always yield accurate answers. Nevertheless, surveys are useful in that they give some, albeit vague, information about a topic, which is better than no information on the topic.
